Twitter and Stuff
Posted by Morgan YorkHey guys. I must say that I’m addicted to Twitter. It’s weird…I avoided it at first because I didn’t want to jump on the bandwagon purely for the sake of following a fad, but once I started, I loved doing it. It’s a lot of fun. However, I’m conflicted on what to do when it comes to interacting with fans. Ever since that xanga I had when I was thirteen (again, I’m so sorry about that disaster…I acted so stupid and threw a hissy fit or two. Luckily, I’ve grown up and don’t care as much about what other people think of me. Thank God.), I’ve been hesitant to interact with fans online. As you know, some people can be rather creepy (not everyone, but I’ve seen a few while roaming the internet, as I’m sure everyone has) and sometimes interacting with fans can lead to things getting too personal. I don’t want to confuse any fans into thinking I’m best friends/pen pals with them. Not that I wouldn’t want to be friends with any of you…I probably would if I actually got to meet you!
Anyway, here is what I’m thinking, and I’d like you guys to let me know if you think it’s a good idea. Every once in a while, I could have an “event” where I ask you guys to submit any questions you have for me via twitter, and after a day or two, I’ll answer them either on twitter or in this journal. So, either using this site’s guestbook or your own twitter page, let me know what you think I should do!
Also, another question: when I post a journal entry, should I post the fact that there’s a new entry in the news updates section of the site?
Let me know, and I’m enjoying all your twitter comments!
